Make all of your friends jealous with this gorgeous dining set.

There are six matching chairs in all original vintage condition. The shells and bases are original to each other and have never been changed or separated (all of the chairs are sold out). Their manufacturer's marks and construction date them to the late 1950's. All of the original screws and shockmounts are there as well. One single shockmount has been professionally repaired. The fiberglass is in excellent vintage original condition with wear appropriate for their age, but no fractures or remarkable damage. All new smart rubber dome glides are in place.

This particular dining table is an example from quite early on in the Eames design development. Rather than having a cast base from the Aluminum Group Series it features the same cast base as the Eames Lounge. Early in the Eames development of occasional and dining tables they were working with the castings they had already made for the Eames Lounge and Ottoman. They called this table the 650 Dining Table (the Eames Lounge and Ottoman are 670 and 671, respectively). Eventually they would come up with an entirely new casting and call that the Aluminum Group Series. This table base also features an unusual white finish. The small amount of chipping to the finish reveals that this white finish is the original finish. It's unusual to see. By the time the Eames produced the Aluminum Group Series they were doing black and gunmetal grey anywhere a finish was to be something different than polished aluminum. This table is in excellent original condition with a tidy black rubber bumper. It has a generous 48-inch (122cm) diameter and seats six. This table also has all of it's original and functional leveling glides.

We took a lot of pictures of this set because it is so pretty we had a hard time stopping. We are offering these chairs separate from the table or as a full dining set. These came from the original owner, who bought them new together and used them as a set. They display beautifully together and it would be quite nice to see them go to a collector who would use them together. You'll notice we've built in a $200 discount on the price if you buy them together as a set.
