Custom pads are available in literally any upholstery available; you provide your own material. We happily help you through the process of finding and selecting the perfect textile.

We prefer to work with both Knoll and Maharam Textiles. Both companies offer excellent collections of Modern textiles. We are good at matching people with beautiful textiles. Send us a message and we will gladly recommend some textiles for you. If you are more DIY you can order Knoll textiles samples directly from their website. For Maharam you need a specifier account, if you find Maharam textiles you would like to see in person please contact us and we will forward them directly to you.

Modern Conscience All-Purpose Restoration Kit. This fantastic kit includes everything you'll need to condition fiberglass, wood, leather, metal, and plastic. This is the same paste wax we use in-house and it's an essential in the restorer's tool kit.

This paste wax is a versatile finish. It provides a rich, satiny luster. The restorer has a great deal of control over the finished product with sheen ranging from a hand buffed matte, all the way to a mechanically polished gloss. Use paste wax to create your own signature finish.

This kit is also a must for routine cleaning and conditioning. Use it to keep your priceless collection in gorgeous condition.

A half pint of our paste wax, instructions, wet sandpaper, dry sandpaper, an abrasive pad, steel wool and lint-free cloths are included. Each kit includes enough product to handle several pieces of furniture, such as a set of eight dining chairs, a dining table, and a credenza.

Eames Screws. A set of four replacement fine thread screws that will replace fine thread screws for a number of seats including vintage Eames Herman Miller seats, and some vintage Eames Wire seats. Typically seats made earlier than the 1960's will require fine thread screws. You can easily use one of your original screws to determine thread type. Count the threads in a 1/2" length; there will be 10 threads for coarse thread and 14 threads for fine thread.

Modern Conscience carries a full collection of vintage screws which are offered for the purpose of replacing a missing screw on a vintage seat which is otherwise 100% original. The screws are all vintage original, you will find that they are either coarse thread or fine thread, depending on the exact screw. You can easily check one of your original screws to determine thread type. Count the threads in a 1/2" length; there will be 10 threads for coarse thread and 14 threads for fine thread.
